I was commissioned by the charity Fitzroy to document some of the ordinary, everyday but amazing things which happen in their supported living centres. My brief was challenging; so many images of adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues or acquired brain injury are infantilising and fail to show the incredible friendships and bonds which form between support staff and residents - so this became my primary aim. It was a pleasure and a privilege to spend some time at this centre.
